Horace Mann has long been a part of the education of Bakersfield's children. The school is the oldest campus in the Bakersfield City School District and is located on an 11 acre site in Northeast Bakersfield. With a commitment to excellence, the staff continues to provide scholastic opportunities for the 884 students enrolled in grades k - 5 and one Special Education class. We also have a Pre Kindergarten program with morning and afternoon programs for 48 students.
